A great defense against Missiles and Torpedoes. This card can be played at anytime a Missile or Torpedo strike would hit your vessel, including Support Craft (if they have energy counters to spend).
If a "Missile" or "Torpedo" card states something happens upon "detonation" or "detonates" that effect will still apply. If nothing is mentioned about this in any relevant card effect, nothing happens other than the attack.
